WHAT IS MUSIC PASSPORT
An export market development trip tailored for emerging Victorian Managers. Music Passport is a comprehensive fact finding / research mission, enabling up and coming managers to create pathways and build networks internationally, specifically in the AMERICA markets.

Recipients announced: Monday 8 April
Recipients will depart from Melbourne: Week 3 June 2019
Recipients will return to Melbourne: Week 24 June 2019

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS PROGRAM
The recipients (managers) will be able to demonstrate:
That they are recognised by the industry, and their peers, as an early /mid-level professional music manager
Membership of key industry organisations and / or documented professional experience of no less than three (3) years
Currently Victorian based. Priority will be given to those that demonstrate at least two consecutive years of activity in Victoria, and further priority if managing Victorian artists
Show an ongoing commitment to a professional artist management career development
Highlight why the PASSPORT markets are a priority for their development
How they intend to maximise the opportunities in those markets before, during and after PASSPORT
Professional personal presentation and verbal/written communication skills
Must be an AAM member
Recipients of the PASSPORT will travel to Los Angeles and New York, guided and supported by one established Australian manager. Included on the three week trip are the following:
Sync Summit 2019 takes place June 13 – 14 2019 - New York, NY
Indie Week 2019, an independent label focused conference hosted by A2IM (American Association of Independent Music) will take place from June 17-20 2019 at New York Law School (185 West Broadway, New York, NY)
Libera Awards - Thursday 20 June 2019
All Australian Indie Week delegates will be invited as a VIP guest to THE AUSSIE BBQ, that will also include an exclusive Network Luncheon with key New York music industry before the showcase performance
Flights (international and internal), accommodation, per diems and conference tickets / fees
Food and beverage expenses outside of the per diems provided and internal transportation (buses, trains, ubers)
If eligible (as above) the applicant needs to complete an application form by the due date, clearly demonstrating how they meet the eligibility criteria and provide support material as required.
Who will evaluate my application?
A panel of two AAM representatives and a Creative Victoria representative will undertake all application assessments and interview the final shortlisted applicants.
HOW TO APPLY?
You will need to provide the following information and supporting evidence in your application:
Full contact, next of kin and passport information
Personal biography and career history (no longer than 2 A4 pages)
Comprehensive strategic plan identifying clear objectives for the activities to be undertaken the PASSPORT markets.
