Co-Pilot Mentorship Program
WHAT IS THE CO-PILOT MENTORSHIP PROGRAM?
The signature AAM Co-Pilot Mentorship Program returns for 2018-19 supported by APRA AMCOS and applications are now open for all financial General AAM members.
For the first time this year, we are partnering with Australian Music Week in Sydney (Australian Music Week 7-11 November 2018 ). A full day induction workshop with your mentor and all mentees will be held in Sydney and both mentors and mentees will receive complimentry registration for AMW conference.
The Co-Pilot Mentorship Program is now in its 6th year (previously 'AAM Mentorship Program’), and matches emerging Australian managers with established and successful managers for a 6-12 month mentorship. The successful mentees will be flown to Sydney (from anywhere in Australia) for an introduction to their mentor, a full day structured management workshop, participate in the AMW conference and receive 3 nights accomodation (if required).
The AAM is encouraging mid-level artist managers who meet the selection criteria, and are ready for the next step in their career, to apply.
In previous years the program has boasted high profile Mentors, including John Watson from Eleven Music (Birds of Tokyo, Cold Chisel, Silverchair, Gotye), Gregg Donovan from Wonderlick (Boy & Bear, Grinspoon, Airbourne, Josh Pyke), Claire Collins from Bossy Music (Art vs Science, D.D Dumbo, Kagu), Nate Farrell from Calibre (360, Thundamentals) Andrew Stone from Chugg Music (Shepperd, Megan Washington, The Griswolds, Deep Sea Arcade), Greg Carey from Grow Yourself Up (The Rubens, Saskwatch, Urthboy, PVT), Rick Chazan from Ground Control (Emma Louise, Robbie Miller, Morning Harvey) and Dan Medland from ie:music (Ladyhawke, Passenger, The Bamboos, Jack Ladder and the Dreamlanders).
