Be it a quiet backyard acoustic performance or an extravaganza on the steps of the Sydney Opera House, Pozible wants to see your music event funded and brought to life! Event coordinators, venues, musicians and anyone who’s ever thought of throwing their own music show, big or small, are invited to crowdfund an event as a part of the Pozible Gigs project.
What’s on offer? $10,000 in cash prizes! As well as amazing exposure for your events crowdfunding campaign.
Submissions close Monday August 12 at 5pm and requires a 100 word submission - after your submission is approved by Pozible staff you can create a full crowdfunding campaign. Participating campaigns will be launched on August 26 and feature on the special 'Pozible Gigs' page.
The events MUST have a music element to it and have a minimum target of $2,000 with 35 supporters. For more guidelines and details on the prizes, head here.
Free Crowdfunding Music Workshops - Pozible have organised two back to back free crowdfunding music workshops in Melbourne. The idea will be to teach anyone interested in raising money for their musical endeavours (be that recording, touring, printing, live performance etc.) exactly how to go about it and what benefits there are for musicians.
