AMP announces 'official selections'

Previously considered the 'long list' The Coopers AMP have shaken things up this year by removing the entry fee and automatically considering ALL Australian releases for the prize. Those albums that the judges believe have short list potential are invited to formally enter The Coopers AMP.

The 8th Australian Music Prize has to date identified over 230 Australian artist album releases for 2012 - this list may grow. Out of these, judges have listened to over 130 albums.
